1. Corporate Identity & Preamble
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website located at hopebridge.ltd and its related subdomains, platforms, and online donation channels (collectively, the “Platform”), operated by HopeBridge Foundation, a registered Section 8 Non-Profit Company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 (CIN: U85300KA2024NPL184920), having its registered office at Indiranagar, 100 Feet Road, HAL 2nd Stage, Bengaluru, Karnataka – 560038, India (“HopeBridge”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By accessing the Platform, initiating a charitable contribution, or utilizing any services provided by HopeBridge Foundation, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must discontinue platform use immediately.
2. Eligibility & User Representations
To donate or transact through the Platform, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years of age or possess legal capacity under Indian Contract Act, 1872;
- All information submitted by you (including your name, email, address, and PAN card details for 80G receipts) is genuine, complete, and accurate;
- You are legally entitled to use the bank account, credit card, debit card, or UPI handle employed for the transaction;
- Your contribution does not originate from any illicit, fraudulent, or money-laundering source prohibited under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 (PMLA).
3. Nature of Charitable Contributions & No Commercial Sale
HopeBridge Foundation is exclusively an altruistic charitable non-governmental organization dedicated to social upliftment, food security, child education, and emergency healthcare relief.
Important Commercial Clarification
Contributions made through this Platform constitute voluntary, non-commercial charitable gifts and donations. No commercial goods or marketable merchandise are sold. Donors receive electronic Section 80G tax certificates and digital impact reports.
4. Currency, Denomination & Pricing in INR
In accordance with Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines and statutory Indian payment standards:
- All program sponsorship tiers, suggested gift amounts, and donations are denominated and settled exclusively in Indian National Rupees (INR / ₹).
- Donations are categorized into verified aid packages (e.g., Hunger Relief Kit at ₹500, Child Education Kit at ₹1,000, Pediatric Medical Care at ₹2,500, Disaster Rehabilitation Kit at ₹5,000, or custom amounts). Full breakdown is available on our Programs & Pricing Page.
- Any foreign currency cards processed through our gateway are converted to INR at prevailing interbank rates determined by your card-issuing bank.
5. Payment Gateway & Processing Partner (Cashfree Payments)
All digital payments on the Platform are processed through Cashfree Payments India Private Limited (“Cashfree”), an authorized Payment Aggregator licensed by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
- PCI-DSS Compliance: Cashfree operates under strict PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance. HopeBridge Foundation does not store, capture, or log your credit card numbers, debit card PINs, CVV codes, or net banking passwords.
- Accepted Payment Modes: Unified Payments Interface (UPI via Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM), Indian RuPay cards, Visa, MasterCard, and Net Banking across 50+ major scheduled commercial banks in India.
- Transaction Failures: In case of transaction dropouts where funds are deducted from your bank but not acknowledged on the Platform, please allow up to 24 hours for automated interbank reconciliation.
6. Section 80G Tax Exemption Certificates
Donations made to HopeBridge Foundation qualify for a 50% tax deduction under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961 for Indian taxpayers.
To enable HopeBridge Foundation to upload your donation to the Income Tax Department's Form 10BD and issue you a valid Form 10BE tax certificate, donors are required to provide their Permanent Account Number (PAN) and postal address during checkout. Receipts are dispatched digitally to the registered email within 24 hours.
7. TopDonor Leaderboard (Pay-to-Rank) Guidelines
The TopDonor program operates as an incentive-driven charitable auction mechanism:
- Any bid placed is treated as a 100% charitable donation directed to frontline hunger and education relief;
- Participants may submit their brand name, startup link, or social handle for public display on the leaderboard;
- Content Moderation: HopeBridge reserves the absolute right to redact, modify, or reject any submission featuring hateful, illegal, sexually explicit, defamatory, or gambling-related branding. Bids rejected for policy violations remain charitable donations and will not be displayed.
8. Refunds & Cancellations
Because donations are immediately disbursed toward grassroots relief operations, groceries, and medical treatments, donations once processed are generally irrevocable. However, genuine requests arising from duplicate payments, unauthorized card usage, or technical errors reported within 7 calendar days will be refunded via the original payment channel. 9. Intellectual Property Rights
All logos, graphics, visual designs, brand names, and digital materials on the Platform are the intellectual property of HopeBridge Foundation. Reproduction, scraping, or misuse without explicit written authorization is prohibited.
10. Governing Law, Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to amicable resolution, the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all matters relating to this Platform.
